Computer Lab

In the age of IT, Computers have become inevitable. To accommodate this need, the school has an well-equipped computer lab, which is the nerve centre of computer education in the school to keep pace with the ever changing IT trends. The advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software, cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. The user-friendly systems enable aconvenient access and enable students to learnVB.net, Corel Draw, Java, Adobe Flash, Kid pix, Logo, Paintbrush, MS-Office, etc.. They are state-of-the-art with multimedia, LCD monitors that are easier on eyes, generate less heat and consume less power thereby keeping the labs comfortable.

Smart Classes

At Delhi Heights School, e-learning is accorded top priority. This helps students schooling with us to be better equipped to meet the challenges of modern day living.

"Smart Class Boards" have been installed in every class room. The teacher is able to log onto our Resource Centre and access audio visual aids to enhance the class room teaching experiences. Such learning through audio visual aids is better absorbed, since abstract concepts are given particular shapes & colours.

Activity Room

Activity Room - There is a vibrant and colourful activity room for the tiny-tots to enjoy, with plethora of games and activities to choose from.  There is no doubt that this is the favourite haunt of the little ones where they can enjoy the world of their own.  The teacher plays a passive role and gently guides them as and when required.

Sports at DHS

Education now-a-days is a changed concept. The method and terminology of teaching is changing day by day for the improvement of the total education process. Physical Education plays a vital role in this modern era. Education through physical activities is a vital instrument of education. On the account of universal acceptance of these views and to have healthy individuals who are fit to face the various challenges of life, emphasis is laid on Physical Education.

We have sports activities so that students from all age groups can enjoy, relax and exercise all at the same time. We have brilliant teachers who are ready to help the students and teach them the skills of good sportsmanship.

Sport facilities include: Outdoor sports like volley ball, cricket, handball, basketball, badminton, yoga and skating along with indoor sports like , chess and carom are organized regularly.

Medical Room

Medical Room - There is a medical room / infirmary in the school which provides comfort and solace to the unwell students.  Basic medicines, First-Aid material, Spray, Balms, Antiseptic lotions / powders etc. are stocked in the medical room.

There are doctors on the school panel who come for regular medical checkups of students. Medical camps are also organised from time to time to keep a check on all health aspects of the students.

Library

Library is the treasure trove of Delhi Heights School. It is well stocked with books, encyclopedias, CDs etc. It is a resource centre which makes an invaluable contribution towards enriching our students’ knowledge bank. Each section i.e., Pre-Primary, Primary & Secondary, has its own library.   Myriad books on history, literature, fiction, science, classics as well as guidebooks for various competitive exams are stocked in the library.  Students can enjoy reading in a calm and serene ambience and get the books issued and take them home.  New arrivals are displayed in rotating racks so that teachers as well as students come to know about the books added to the treasure chest of the Library.
